Putin Russian Antichrist
A lot of evangelistic types fear that Barack Hussein Obama
is the Antichrist. Many others fear that Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, Влади́мир
Влади́мирович Пу́тин, is that guy. Either way, they’re butting heads on the
world stage, with World War Three teetering in the balance. I’ve already
covered Obama’s Antichrist credentials in my American Antichrist post. Now,
let’s give the devil his due and delve into the possibility that Vlad Putin is
the fuse to the bomb that lights the world on fire, or if he’s simply holding
the match.
Like the first two widely accepted antichrist figures,
Napolean and Hitler, Putin came from an ordinary family. Still an unknown to
anyone outside of the Kremlin’s spy circles when the Berlin Wall fell, strange
circumstances pathed the way for Putin’s ascent. When Boris Yeltsin’s
unexpected, and perhaps unqualified, reign as Russia’s president collapsed,
Putin was already in place to step into the role of America’s greatest foil.
It’s been common fare in America to look towards Russia for
the Antichrist since 1909, when Oxford University Press published the “Scofield
Reference Bible.” The book’s editor, C. I. Scofield, instructed his
readers that Russia would be the final great empire foretold in the book of
Ezekiel. The coming of the Bolsheviks certainly reinforced those ideas.
Churches were razed, and atheism became the state’s ideal.
Vladimir Lenin’s arrival on the world scene was pathed with
blood. Accredited with the deaths of four million human beings, Lenin would be
in line for title of Antichrist, himself, if not for his successor Josef
Stalin’s reign of terror, which would claim over twenty million lives, putting
Russia on the map as a Superpower, and in league with Hitler’s atrocities and
Mao’s estimated forty million kills. In terms of building modern empires out of
the blood and bones of millions of victims, Russia certainly has a wealth of
experience in that.
Despite Putin’s reckless military endeavors, he’s not even in
the ballpark with these dubious world leaders. So how does he earn the right to
be in the Antichrist conversation, with just the few military operations he’s
ordered? That answer is simple. He’s the man with his finger on the nuclear war
button. And he likes to wave that finger around.
The rise of Putin has been remarkable, perhaps even charmed,
in some supernatural sense. In a span of five years (1996-2000) Putin moved up
the Russian government ladder from Deputy Chief of the Presidential Property
Management Directorate to Prime Minister of the Russian Government and finally
to Acting President of the Russian Federation. Putin was appointed Prime
Minister by Yeltsin on Aug. 9, 1999. Less than five months after that, on Dec.
31, 1999 Yelstin resigned and Putin became president.
Nostradamus predicted that the great king of terror would
come in 1999. 1999 upside down is 6661. 1999 reversed is 9111.
Two days after Putin became Prime Minister for the first
time, the last total solar eclipse of the millennium was viewed by hundreds of
millions of people in Europe and Asia. A week later there was an unusual
alignment of planets in a Grand Cross shape of zodiac figures that make up
the faces of an eagle, a man, a lion, and a calf, the four beasts prophesied in
Revelation 4:1-8.
Though Putin took the position as acting president on New Years Eve, 1999, he was
inaugurated as Russian president 2 days after another rare alignment of
planets, on May 5, 2000, in which the planets Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and
Saturn were perfectly aligned with the Sun, Moon and Earth. The last time
this happened was 6,000 years ago. The start of his other terms have also come
near rare astronomical events.
As far as biblical prophecy goes, Putin once again finds
himself in the thick of things. Ezekiel 38 points out that the returned messiah’s
armies will go to war against the countries of Gog and Magog, and their prince
Rosh. Most biblical scholars equate Gog and Magog to Russia and China. Rosh is
similar to ancient spellings of Russia.
In the Book of Revelation, John of Patmos predicted the war
of the apocalypse, with one of the armies being led by the kings of the east
against Israel.
With that kind of ambiguity you can’t really pinpoint Putin as the chosen one of darkness. Of course, it does little to rule him out either. The fact that Putin is currently building a military coalition between Russia, Iran, Iraq and Syria, which exactly matches the prophecies of Russia and Persia making an alliance against Israel and the rest of the world, speaks volumes bout his desire to at least fit into the Antichrist conversation.

Putin also fits this biblical prophecy of the Antichrist from
Revelation 17:8 (The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will
come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. The inhabitants of the
earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation
of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because it once was,
now is not, and yet will come.)
Putin’s first reign as president of Russia was from
1999-2008. He then took the lower office of Prime Minister again from
2008-2012. Then he was elected to the presidency again, this time from 2012 until
2018, a 6 year term that ends when his is 66. He was president, then he was not, then he was again.
Putin’s reigns have been marked by one recurring theme: His
political enemies mysteriously die, or find themselves imprisoned.
A little history: In March 1919, Lenin, founded the Third Communist
International, an association of the socialist workers throughout the whole world, who were
striving to establish Soviet power in all countries. That is Putin’s goal today
and he serves as Communism’s hero.
In a strange twist of math, if you add the years from when
the Third Communist International Congress was created in 1919 to 1999, the
year Putin came to power, the answer is 80. Add that 80 to the numbers 221 (the
day of the year Putin became Prime Minister), and 365 (the day of the year
Putin became president) = 666. 1999-1919+221+365=666
The USA was once considered by many to be favored by God, while
Russia went about erasing god by making atheism an ideal of the state and by destroying churches. That all changed after the fall of communism and the
subsequent rise of Putin.
Ironically, Russia has rebounded from state atheism and is now the champion of religious morals, while the USA has steadfastly moved away from religion, and like Europe, has become more liberal.
At one time, supporting Russia in the USA meant you were a traitor, but now, the leaders of America's Republican party seem to have more in common with Putin’s oppressive, conservative ideals than those of America’s liberal political leaders.

In his annual state of the nation speech to Russia’s
parliament in December 2014, Putin assured conservatives around the world
that Russia was ready and willing to stand up for ‘family values’ against a
tide of liberal, western, pro-gay propaganda ‘that asks us to accept without
question the equality of good and evil’. Russia, he promised, will ‘defend
traditional values that have made up the spiritual and moral foundation of civilization
in every nation for thousands of years’.
A recent report by the Centre for Strategic Communications, a
Kremlin-connected think tank, neatly summarized Putin’s ambition: it’s entitled
‘Putin: World Conservatism’s New Leader’. The report argues that large, silent
majorities around the world favor traditional family values over feminism and
gay rights — and that Putin is their natural leader.
‘The Kremlin apparently believes it has found the ultimate wedge issue to unite its supporters and divide its opponents, both in Russia and the West, and garner support in the developing world,’ says Radio Free Europe’s Brian Whitmore. ‘They seem to believe they have found the ideology that will return Russia to its rightful place as a great power with a messianic mission and the ability to win hearts and minds globally.’

To understand more about Putin's use of religion to divide, read this from Boyd D.Cathey: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article40624.htm
Merkel joins Barack Obama and prime ministers David Cameron, Francois Hollande, and the leaders of the EU in expressing this important underlying rationale for Western policy towards Russia.
It is, then, the formal Western and American embrace of homosexuality, same sex marriage, and other deviations from traditional Christian morality as normative that has opened a steep chasm and motivates zealous proponents, for whom Vladimir Putin and a revived traditional Russia present a distinct challenge to their eventual global success.
It is, then, this rebellion against God-created human nature and against natural law, itself, that is bitterly opposed to Russia’s affirmation of traditional religious belief. It is this divide now that forms the deepest basis of the profound conflict between East and West. Indeed, the world has been turned upside down, with Russia now defending Christianity, while the American and Western political and media elites viciously attack it. As Patrick Buchanan now rightly asks: “On whose side is God NOW on?”
